The Necessity of Remembering.

Those who fought for Freedom.
Walked through the aisles of crosses and stars.
Silence and lifting a soldier in prayer as he mourned his friends.
The weight of Freedom.

Days later another soldier came to higher-ground to lift i up.
We remembered his Grand Father's heroics in the second world war.
I recalled how Dad worked two-full time jobs when I was a child,
His laughter, generosity, and change of heart...

Walking this path...learning to fight for Love's sake.

Be FREE...and follow your Destiny

  2. Thank you for the no comment KD!

Im glad i got out on Memorial to walk through the aisles. Was good to take a break and let the weight of the spot sink in. i wonder how much we actually appreciate what was done for us by past generations.

yeah, that poem really got me. even brought some peace as ive been letting go of the thought of steppin back into the ring.learning the top way of fighting and the best sword to swing...

the lion was a buckle i picked up from Montreal 5 years back. gold lion of Judah steez. the sword is a replica of excalibur i picked up in Scotland back in 2000. King Arthur's sword, though its not turned green yet. ima have to blog about that story some time.
